Two vital meetings for the Pensions campaign

After the great success of November 30th, there are two vital meetings on the Pensions campaign for SOSiS activists and supporters to attend. The first is an Organising Conference on the fight for decent pensions organsed by PCS Left Unity on Saturday 7th January 2012 at Friends Meeting House, Euston Road, London NW1 (opposite Euston Station). The conference, chaired by PCS President Janice Godrich, “will be an organising conference, not just a debating forum. Notes from Steering Committee 30/5/2011

June 2, 2011
By

Unfortunately, due to illness and other reasons, we had quite a few apologies and this was one of our smallest steering committee meetings. Nevertheless it was businesslike, optimistic and forward looking and we agreed a number of actions. We also discussed the range of cuts planned and those already hitting public services in the county. Local Groups and activity It was reported that we have active local groups launched in Redhill and Staines, a ‘town committee’ in Woking and a facebook group in Guildford. Members are asked to try to establish and develop local groups which can feed into...
